For me, Patong is much more than just Bangla Road, even though it’s one of my favorite places after sunset. Every time I visit, I find myself enjoying something different—whether it’s relaxing on the beautiful beach, trying a new water activity, or discovering another amazing Thai restaurant. I always recommend starting the day with a refreshing Thai tea and ending it with a drink at Backpacker Bar. It’s these little moments that make Patong one of the most unforgettable places in Thailand for me.
My Favorite Experiences
Songkran Festival
Songkran in Patong is one of the craziest experiences I’ve ever had. The streets are filled with thousands of people armed with water guns, music is everywhere, and the atmosphere is absolutely incredible. One minute I’m dancing outside a bar completely soaked, and the next I’m running through the streets, laughing like a kid in the middle of the biggest water fight I’ve ever experienced. It’s a memory I’ll never forget.
Jet Ski Adventure
I never miss the chance to go jet skiing whenever I’m in Thailand, and Patong was where I experienced it for the first time. It was an unforgettable adrenaline rush from the very first minute. If you’re into speed and adventure, this is a must-try activity. Bring an action camera and you’ll capture some amazing memories on the water.
Bangla Road
Bangla Road is a place where everyone seems to be a little crazy, and that’s exactly why I love it. I’ve had some wild nights here, but also quiet evenings simply enjoying the energy of the street. Every visit feels different, and that’s what keeps me coming back. If you love nightlife and vibrant places full of life, Bangla Road is something you have to experience at least once.
