My experience
It was one of the best experiences of my life. On Songkran, anything can happen – at any moment, someone might pour a bucket of ice-cold water over your head, and somehow, that’s all part of the fun. Some of the biggest and most unforgettable water fights I’ve ever experienced happened right here on Bangla Road.
The Energy of Bangla Road
Step into the electric atmosphere of Phuket’s famous Bangla Road, where neon lights and unforgettable nightlife create an experience unlike anywhere else.
My experience
This was the place where I first realised that Thailand was beyond anything I had ever imagined. One of my favourite memories from Bangla Road was meeting travellers from eight different countries. We spent the rest of the evening together before ending the night at the famous Illuzion nightclub.

Patong Kyma Beach Bar
After the energy of Bangla Road, this was exactly the kind of place I needed. Sitting by the beach with a drink in hand, watching the sunset, reminded me that Thailand isn’t just about the nightlife – it’s also about slowing down and enjoying the moment.
My experience
For me, Kyma Beach Bar was the perfect place to slow down after a busy day. If you’re travelling with your partner or looking for a great date spot, I couldn’t recommend it more. Great cocktails, stunning sunsets and an amazing fire show make the evening truly special.
